Will this fix swirl marks and scratches in my paint?

Yes, that's the core of what it does. A single-stage polish removes a genuine layer of light to moderate defects, swirls, haze, minor scratching, restoring clarity and depth rather than just adding shine on top of the problem. If your paintwork is more heavily damaged, that's what our Multi-Stage service is for. We'll tell you honestly which one your car needs before you book either.

What happens if it rains?

Correction work needs controlled, dry conditions to do properly. If the weather's against us, we've got the Unit in Shankill as a fallback so the job isn't left half-done or rushed to beat the rain.

What is Single-Stage correction, and how is it different from the Signature Package?

Single-Stage is a proper correction, no waxes, no fillers. It's built to last, not just to look good on the day. The Signature Package uses an all-in-one polish that contains waxes and fillers, so it finishes well but fades faster. If you want genuine, lasting correction rather than a shorter-term enhancement, this is the right service.

Do you need access to water or power?

We bring our own water. We just need access to a plug socket for power. Nothing else required.

Why does this cost more than a dealership paint protection package?

Dealership packages like GardX or Autoglym LifeShine are typically a sealant applied straight over existing paint defects, dirt and swirls included. Single-Stage correction removes those defects first before anything's sealed in, so you're paying for the actual correction work, not just a layer over the top of a problem that's still there.

How long do the results last?

Because there are no waxes or fillers involved, the correction itself is permanent, the clear coat has genuinely been levelled, not temporarily masked. Fresh swirls and scratches can still happen from poor washing or automated car washes afterwards, so how it's maintained matters as much as the correction itself.

Do I need to be home?

No. Leave the car accessible and we'll take care of the rest.

Give us 24 hours' notice and we can usually slot you into the next gap, no fuss, no penalty.

Will machine polishing damage or thin my clear coat?

Done properly, no. We measure and work within safe limits so we're never removing more clear coat than the correction actually needs. It's a controlled, precise process, not an aggressive one, and it's exactly why this is a job for a specialist rather than a DIY polish.

Is this suitable for a car I'm about to sell, or is it overkill?

It's one of the best things you can do before a sale. Swirl-free, corrected paint makes a huge difference to first impressions and can genuinely support a stronger price. If the car's paint is already in decent shape and you just want it looking its best, our Signature Package might be the better fit for the budget.
