Nothing gets rushed to save a step

Frequently asked questions

How long does the correction take, and how do you know how many stages a car needs?

It depends entirely on the condition of the paint, that's the honest answer rather than a fixed number we quote every customer. We assess the car first and work through however many passes it actually takes to get the result right, not a preset process regardless of what's in front of us.

Do I need to be home?

No. Leave the car accessible and we'll take care of the rest.

Will this remove deep scratches, key marks, or stone chips?

It'll remove genuine paint defects, swirling, scratching, oxidation, haze, right down to what the clear coat allows. What it won't do is fill or hide physical damage that's gone through to the base coat or metal, deep key scratches or stone chips need a different repair entirely, and we'll tell you straight if that's what you're looking at rather than promising a polish will fix it.

Do you need access to water or power?

We bring our own water. We just need access to a plug socket for power. Nothing else required.

Will heavier correction damage or thin my clear coat?

This is exactly why it needs to be done by someone who knows what they're doing. We work within safe, measured limits throughout, checking as we go rather than just running the machine and hoping for the best. The whole point of doing this properly is removing what needs to go without taking more clear coat than the car has to spare.

Why does this cost more than a dealership package or a basic polish?

A dealership sealant or a quick polish sits on top of existing defects rather than removing them. Multi-Stage correction does the actual work of levelling the clear coat first, defect by defect, which is a slower, more skilled process than spraying a sealant over paint that's still damaged underneath.

How long do the results last?

The correction itself is permanent, the defects are physically removed, not masked. Fresh damage can still happen from poor washing habits or automated car washes afterwards, so how you maintain it after matters just as much as the work itself.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Give us 24 hours' notice and we can usually slot you into the next gap, no fuss, no penalty.

How is this different from Single-Stage correction?

Single-Stage handles light to moderate defects in one proper pass. Multi-Stage is for paint that needs more than that, deeper swirling, heavier scratching, damage that a single pass won't fully resolve. It's not that Multi-Stage is automatically "better," it's that some paint genuinely needs the extra work to get a proper result, and we won't sell you a Single-Stage if it isn't going to get you there.

What happens if it rains, or is this better suited to the Unit?

Multi-Stage work needs proper, controlled conditions given how much time and precision goes into it. For heavier jobs like this, the Unit in Shankill is often the better setting from the start, and it's always there as a fallback if weather gets in the way of a mobile booking.

What is Multi-Stage correction, and why not call it "two-stage" like everyone else?

Because "two-stage" isn't always accurate. At this level of correction, how many passes a panel actually needs depends on how bad the damage is, sometimes it's two, sometimes it's more. Calling it Multi-Stage is the honest version, we're not locking you into a fixed number of steps that might not match what your car actually needs.
