A final IPA wipe-down across every panel to strip any remaining oils or residue before application.

The car sits in the Unit, undisturbed, for a full 24 hours. We recheck it in that window before it goes back to you.

Frequently asked questions

Why bother with this if the car's going to get swirled again eventually anyway?

Because prevention is a lot cheaper than correction. Starting clean and protected means routine washing does less damage over time, and any future maintenance stays lighter and cheaper than if the car had been left to pick up defects unchecked from day one.

Do you need access to water or power?

We bring our own water. We just need access to a plug socket for power. Nothing else required.

What happens if it rains?

Polishing needs the right conditions, so if the weather's against us, we've got the Unit in Shankill as a fallback rather than leaving you waiting for the next dry slot.

Should I do this before or after my first proper wash?

Get in touch before you do anything to it yourself. New paint is at its most vulnerable in the first few washes, poor technique or the wrong products at this stage can cause exactly the kind of marring we'd otherwise be preventing.

Do I need to be home?

No. Leave the car accessible and we'll take care of the rest.

Is this the same as your Single-Stage correction?

No, it's lighter. There are no waxes or fillers used, same as a proper correction, but the amount of work involved is far less because new paint simply doesn't have the defects an older car's does. Think of it as light enhancement rather than correction, there's very little to correct on a car this new.

Can I cancel or reschedule?

Give us 24 hours' notice and we can usually slot you into the next gap, no fuss, no penalty.

Will this remove stone chips or delivery damage?

No. This is a polish, not a repair. If your car's picked up a stone chip or a knock on the way to you, which does happen more often than people expect, that's a different job entirely and we'll tell you honestly if that's what we're looking at rather than trying to polish over it.

My car's brand new, why does it need any polishing at all?

Because "new" doesn't mean "perfect." Even a car straight from the dealership can pick up light swirling and marring from the delivery process, transport, prep, handling before it ever reaches you. It's a light single-stage polish, a whip over, not a correction, just making sure the paint starts its life looking as good as it actually can.
